aark is an art residency on the island of Korpo, one of the many thousands of islands that make up the Finnish archipelago.

Korpo is a place of wide horizons, open skies, clear waters, untouched forests and (in mid-summer) seemingly endless hours of daylight.

Sunlight plus water = perfect cyanotype conditions. 2 weeks of catching shadows and making work uniquely of this place. 

Memories rise and fall like the lapping waters disturbed by the passing ships.
